Community Outreach
To create healthy competition and attract the best partners, the Concession Development
Program is reaching out to engage San Diego small business community members that
have an interest in the upcoming concession opportunities.
Our goal is to create a strong awareness of what it takes to run a business at the
airport and educate small firms on the benefits of becoming a concessionaire.
Several large "Airport Concession Opportunity Fairs" are planned throughout the
county during 2010.
Outreach Events
The Airport Authority staff will also be attending local and national conferences,
managing exhibition booths, conducting one-on-one meetings, and networking and building
relationships with existing and potential concessionaires.sting and potential concessionaires.
